The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of UCC Demons (1-1) in Dublin. Visitors were rolled over by UCD Marian (2-0) 107-84. Five UCD Marian and four UCC Demons players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. UCD Marian will play against Belfast Star (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. UCC Demons will play against Swords Thunder to get more than just one victory in their record.
