Regular Season Round 4: Tokyo Z - Toyotsu FE 59-75

Rather expected game when 5th ranked Tokyo Z (1-3) was defeated at home by third ranked Toyotsu FE (3-1) 75-59 on Sunday. The game without a history. Toyotsu FE led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Toyotsu FE had a 29-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigeria center Solomon Alabi (216-88, college: Florida St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and American forward Sheriff Sow (201-92) who added 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Toyotsu FE players scored in double figures. Toyotsu FE's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American power forward Zachary Andrews (203-85, college: Bradley) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Shimon Takayama (180-90) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Toyotsu FE keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser Tokyo Z dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. Toyotsu FE will face league's second-placed Bambitious Nara at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tokyo Z will play against the league's leader Nishinomiya S. and hope to win that game.
