A very close game took place in Comodoro R. between GECR Indalo and San Lorenzo. Sixth ranked GECR Indalo (2-2) got a very close home victory over much higher ranked San Lorenzo (3-1). GECR Indalo managed to escape with a 1-point win 84-83 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of San Lorenzo. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 19-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Nicolas De los Santos (180-88) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international Carlos Schattmann (193-87) who added 16 points during the contest. Four GECR Indalo players scored in double figures. At the losing side international forward Gabriel Deck (199-95) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and international point guard Nicolas Aguirre (188-88) scored 5 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. GECR Indalo moved-up to fifth place in Sur. Defending champion San Lorenzo dropped to the third position with one game lost. They share it with Ferrocarril. GECR Indalo will meet at home higher ranked Ferrocarril (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. San Lorenzo will have a break next round.
