Regular Season Round 3: Froya Basket - Asker Aliens 109-79

Very predictable result in Laksevag where Froya Basket (3-1) smashed Asker Aliens (1-3) 109-79 on Saturday. The game without a history. Froya Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Asker Aliens' 40. It was a great evening for French forward Ivan Emanuely (199-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Latvia point guard Reno Silavs (180-91) helped adding 17 points and 4 assists. Froya Basket's coach Brent Hackman felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was DR Congolese power forward Djo Yele (203-82) with 25 points and 9 rebounds and Latvia forward Alvis Eglitis (195-85) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Froya Basket and four Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. Froya Basket will face Baerum Basket (#5) in Bekkestua in the next round.
