Regular Season Round 4: Kremen - Zaporizhya 68-73

The game in Kremenchuk was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Zaporizhya (3-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Kremen (1-2). Zaporizhya managed to secure a 5-point victory 73-68 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kremen won fourth quarter 23-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Pavlo Burenko (184-90) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Maks Adam Konate (202-91, agency: Alti Sport) who added 12 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four Zaporizhya players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Oleksandr Tyshchenko (206-89) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Maxim Balashov (190-80, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) scored 16 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Zaporizhya moved-up to second place, which they share with Dnipro. Loser Kremen dropped to the ninth position with two games lost. Zaporizhya will have a break next round. Kremen will play on the road against Kryvbas (#5) in Kryvyi Rih and hope to win that game.
