Regular Season Round 2: Namika Lr - TuNMKY 62-72

An interesting game was played in Lappeenranta where TuNMKY (#8) beat host Namika Lr (#7) 72-62 on Sunday evening. The game was mostly controlled by TuNMKY. Namika Lr managed to win third quarter 16-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Eero Innamaa (186-98) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Timka Jaakkola (192-94) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four TuNMKY players scored in double figures. Forward Karl Engelvuori (191-95) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Anttoni Tapio (193-92) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. TuNMKY will meet at home HyPo (#9) in the next round. Namika Lr will play against PuHu Juniorit in Vantaa and hope to win that game.
