The game between closely ranked teams ended with SKB Zlin's (2-0) home victory over Ostrava (0-1) 82-72 on Sunday. Center Tomas Voslajer (211-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Jaroslav Prasil (200-80, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Guard Michal Palat (194-90) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and guard Jan Lycka (186-93) added 20 points in the effort for Ostrava. Four Ostrava players scored in double figures. Ostrava's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SKB Zlin will face B&W Opava B (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Ostrava will play against Sokol Slapanice (#4) and hope to win that game.
