FC Porto Ferpinta was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Benfica 76-74 on Saturday night. FC Porto Ferpinta was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 18-12 charge of Benfica, which allowed them to win the game. American-Hungarian forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Naturalized Angola guard Carlos Morais (200-85, agency: Duran International) contributed with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
