Regular Season Round 5: MBK Ruzomb. - Samorin 69-63

The game between third ranked Samorin (3-2) and fourth ranked MBK Ruzomberok (3-1) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Samorin was defeated by MBK Ruzomberok in a tough game in Ruzomberok 63-69. International forward Miroslava Mistinova (182-97) stepped up and scored 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Zuzana Lazarova (168-87) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. The former international power forward Romana Vynuchalova (192-86, college: Penn St., agency: Regeneracom Sports) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian point guard Mirjana Beronja (170-86) scored 15 points and 6 assists. MBK Ruzomberok moved-up to third place. Samorin at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. MBK Ruzomberok are looking forward to face BAM Poprad (#5) on the road in the next round. Samorin will play against UKF Nitra and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
