Semi-Finals Game 3: Gigantes - Indias 72-66

Gigantes knocked down Indias for the third straight win in the semifinal series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 23-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Gigantes dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Indias' 32. They outrebounded Indias 39-26 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Markel Walker (185-90, college: UCLA) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. The former international point guard Jennifer O'Neill (168-90, college: Kentucky) chipped in 22 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Rebecca Tobin (195-88, college: Arizona St.) who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward Amanda Thompson (178-87, college: Oklahoma) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively.
