Regular Season Round 7: Rennes - Caen 75-53

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Caen (4-3) was outplayed on the road by tenth ranked Union Rennes (4-3) 75-53. The game without a history. Union Rennes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Union Rennes forced 23 Caen turnovers. Union Rennes players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Caen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for D Cham who led the winners and scored 18 points and 4 steals. American swingman Daviin Davis (193-85, college: Weber St.) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Union Rennes' coach Pascal Thibaud felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Moustapha Diarra (204-87, college: USF) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian power forward Darko Cohadarevic (205-86, college: Texas Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Caen in the defeat. Union Rennes moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Caen.
