Very important is a road loss of second ranked Panteras (8-5) against sixth ranked Toros (4-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Panteras were defeated by Toros in a tough game in David 80-88. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 36-25 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Toros looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Joel Munoz (183-80, agency: Paris Global Sports) fired 30 points and 7 assists for the winners. Naturalized American guard Antonio Bumpus (190-89, college: Cumberlands) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. Toros maintains sixth place with 4-9 record. Loser Panteras still keep top position with five games lost. They share it with Correcaminos. Toros will meet higher ranked Caballos (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
