Regular Season Round 8: USK Praha - BK Kolin 66-69

The biggest surprise of round 8 in NBL was guest BK Kolin's (4-4) road victory over 7th ranked USK Praha (3-5) 69-66 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-66. The best player for the winners was power forward David Machac (205-80) who scored 23 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Forward Michal Vocetka (199-89, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 8 points. International swingman Jaromir Bohacik (197-92, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and Finnish power forward Alexander Madsen (207-95) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. BK Kolin have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Usti n/Labem. USK Praha at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. BK Kolin is looking forward to face higher ranked BK Decin (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. USK Praha will play against the league's second-placed BK Pardubice (#2) and is hoping to win this game.
