We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when Stabill (0-3) lost to Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (1-3) in Tarnobrzeg 60-69 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 37-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. outrebounded Stabill 43-22 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for the former international power forward Szymon Szewczyk (209-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. will face Polpharma (#11) in Starogard in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Stabill will play on the road against Rosa (#9) in Radom and hopes to get finally their first victory.
