Very expected game when 16th ranked VL Pesaro (1-3) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Scandone AV (3-1) 60-55 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 18-10 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Liberia point guard Joe Ragland (182-89, college: Wichita St.) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 5 assists and 6 steals and American forward Maarten Leunen (206-85, college: Oregon) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
