Everything could happen in Praha at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked GBA Sparta and 7th ranked Vysocina had identical 1-2 record. This time GBA Sparta used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Jihlava 72-59 on Sunday night. GBA Sparta forced 20 Vysocina turnovers. Latvia forward Verners Kohs (203-97) fired 8 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Martin Hruby (192-87) chipped in 12 points. GBA Sparta's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Martin Novak (199-93) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and guard Miroslav Krajcigr (178-94) added 16 points respectively for lost side. GBA Sparta (2-2) moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with Loko Plzen and Nymburk B. Vysocina lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. GBA Sparta will face higher ranked Sokol Hradec Kralove (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Vysocina will play against Sokol Pisek (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
