Regular Season Round 4: Zlin - Olomouc Bbal 96-70

The biggest surprise took place in Zlin where host SKB Zlin (4-0) crushed league's leader Olomouc Bbal (3-1) 96-70 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Olomouc Bbal. It was a key game for the top position in Group B. SKB Zlin shot 64.6 percent from the field. They also forced 22 Olomouc Bbal turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Olomouc Bbal helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Tomas Voslajer (211-90) fired 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Radek Pumprla (193-95) chipped in 11 points. Five SKB Zlin players scored in double figures. Jiri Dedek (190-95) produced 29 points and 6 rebounds and forward Jakub Hanus (192-95) added 10 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SKB Zlin have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group B leader. Olomouc Bbal at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. They share the position with Novy Jicin. They were replaced at the leadership position by Zlin. Olomouc Bbal will play next round against Sokol Slapanice trying to make it back to the top of the standings. SKB Zlin will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Pardubice on the road.
