Regular Season Round 1: H-Sirenos - Cegledi EKK 61-76

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Lithuania Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas (0-1) at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Hungarian Cegledi EKK (1-0) 76-61. The game was mostly controlled by Cegledi EKK. Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas was better in third quarter 15-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cegledi EKK forced 25 Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Cegledi EKK will play against Spartak Vidnoye (#4) at home in the next round. Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas will play against Maccabi Ashdod and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
