Regular Season Round 5: USK Praha B - Nymburk B 66-88

The most surprising game was the first loss of USK Praha B (4-1) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were rolled over by fifth ranked Nymburk B (3-2) 88-66. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of USK Praha B. It was a great shooting night for Nymburk B especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 69.2 percentage. Forward Matej Svoboda (200-96) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!) (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field). International center Martin Peterka (205-95) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Nymburk B's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Jan Streba (195-95) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and center Filip Petruzela (205-97) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for USK Praha B. Nymburk B moved-up to fourth place in Group A. USK Praha B at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Slavoj Litom. and Sokol H.K.. Nymburk B are looking forward to face GBA Sparta (#8) in Praha in the next round. USK Praha B will play at home against Basket Kosice (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
