1Liga top team - SKB Zlin (5-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Pardubice (1-4) 93-61. SKB Zlin forced 21 Pardubice turnovers. Swingman Marian Hrabovsky (198-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Jaroslav Prasil (200-80, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Four SKB Zlin players scored in double figures. Guard Lukas Kanturek (183) answered with 15 points and forward Josef Potocek (196-96) added 15 points in the effort for Pardubice. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SKB Zlin have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group B with 5-0 record. Loser Pardubice dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. SKB Zlin will face Havirov (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pardubice will play against the league's second-placed Sokol Slapanice in Slapnice and hope to win that game.
