Regular Season Round 7: Pogon Prudnik - Biofarm PZN 90-67

Very predictable result when sixth ranked Pogon Prudnik (5-2) smashed at home 11th ranked Biofarm PZN (2-5) 90-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Pogon Prudnik. Biofarm PZN was better in fourth quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pogon Prudnik forced 20 Biofarm PZN turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for swingman Adrian Mroczek-Truskowski (192-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 assists. Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 19 points. Four Pogon Prudnik players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) responded with 10 points and 5 assists and forward Filip Struski (200-94) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Pogon Prudnik. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Biofarm PZN lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with five games lost. Pogon Prudnik will face Astoria Bydg. (#13) in Bydgoszcz in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Biofarm PZN will play at home against Rosa II Radom and hope to win that game.
