Not a big story in a game in Ourense where 11th ranked La Fecha (1-3) was defeated by sixth ranked Calidus Gal.COB (2-1) 79-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Calidus Gal.COB. La Fecha was better in third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Calidus Gal.COB won last quarter 26-16. They also forced 23 La Fecha turnovers. The best player for the winners was Georgia swingman Luka Bulashvili (192-98, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Deyan Colado (-96) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Calidus Gal.COB players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Millan Lopez (185-94) who recorded 29 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Andres Fernandez (178-89) added 5 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Calidus Gal.COB maintains sixth position in Group A-B with 2-1 record. Loser La Fecha dropped to the tenth place with three games lost. Calidus Gal.COB will face higher ranked Chantada (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. La Fecha will play against the league's leader Estudiantes L. (#1) in Lugo and hope to win that game.
