Very important is a home loss of third ranked Olomouc Bbal (3-2) against sixth ranked Sokol Slapanice (3-2) on Sunday night. Host Olomouc Bbal was defeated by Sokol Slapanice in Olomouc 82-65. Sokol Slapanice outrebounded Olomouc Bbal 37-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. Forward Jan Rotrekl (196-85) stepped up and scored 25 points and 4 steals for the winners and forward Martin Vyroubal (199-96) chipped in 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sokol Slapanice moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Olomouc Bbal. Sokol Slapanice will play against Pardubice (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
