Very important is a road loss of second ranked Speyer (5-2) against sixth ranked Fellbach (5-2) on Sunday night. Visiting Speyer was defeated by Fellbach in a tough game in Fellbach 74-78. They made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Bosnian-Croatia center Miroslav Ljoljic (208-92) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Fellbach players scored in double figures. American power forward Aaron Ellis (205-87, college: Wichita St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import center Khobi Williamson (201-92, college: Hampden-Sydney) added 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Speyer in the defeat. Fellbach moved-up to second place in South-West, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Speyer. Fellbach's next round opponent will be league's leader BV Villingen-Schwenningen on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Speyer will play against TV Langen and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the ProB just one year after relegation.
