The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked New Crusaders (3-1) played at the court of 7th ranked Univ.de Los Lagos (1-5). New Crusaders smashed Univ.de Los Lagos 93-57 on Sunday. New Crusaders dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Univ.de Los Lagos' 38. New Crusaders forced 20 Univ.de Los Lagos turnovers. The former international forward Daniela Troncoso (178-87) notched 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Yazmin Micaly supported her with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four New Crusaders players scored in double figures. Even 11 points and 7 rebounds by Gladys Mella did not help to save the game for Univ.de Los Lagos. Melisa Daniela added 12 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. New Crusaders maintains fourth position with 3-1 record. Loser Univ.de Los Lagos keep the seventh place with five games lost. New Crusaders will meet at home bottom-ranked Libertad SF (#8) in the next round. Univ.de Los Lagos will play against the league's second-placed Univ.de Chile and hope to win that game.
