Very expected game in Sosnowiec where 12th ranked Zaglebie (1-6) was defeated by fifth ranked Rybnik (4-2) 61-56 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 22-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Adam Bialdyga (198-87) fired 27 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Forward Lukasz Ochodek (197-82) chipped in 17 points. Rybnik's coach Lukasz Szymik used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Kamil Wojciak (193-85) produced 17 points and power forward Damian Nowak (198-95) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Rybnik moved-up to third place in Group C, which they share with AZS KU PO. Zaglebie lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with six games lost. Rybnik will face AZS PCz (#11) in Czestochowa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zaglebie will play on the road against AZS PS Gliwice and hope to win that game.
