Bottom-ranked Koeln Rh.Stars managed to get a second victory, breaking the four-game losing streak. This time they won against fifteenth-ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule in Allmendingen 65-61. Koeln Rh.Stars forced 20 Ehingen/Urspringschule turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Hugh Robertson (195-89, college: S.Florida) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Jelani Hewitt (191-91, college: Georgia South) who added 15 points, 5 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Four Koeln Rh.Stars players scored in double figures. American forward Daniel Berger (203-90, college: BYU-Hawaii) responded with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Scottish forward Alasdair Fraser (201-92, college: Maine, agency: Court Side) scored 15 points. Ehingen/Urspringschule's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Koeln Rh.Stars (2-6) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with ETB Wohnbau. Ehingen/Urspringschule lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. They share it with Dresden. Koeln Rh.Stars will play against higher ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg (#3) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
