Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Gelisim (3-4) and Final Genclik (2-5), which took place in Izmir. Higher ranked Gelisim lost at home to seventeenth ranked Final Genclik 73-87 on Friday. Final Genclik had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a very good performance for Nigeria center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford, agency: SDJ Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). American guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead) contributed with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four Final Genclik players scored in double figures. American point guard Adonte Parker (186-89, college: Dayton) answered with 22 points and 4 assists and Bosnian-Slovenia center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Gelisim. Gelisim's coach Arda Vekiloglu gave the chance to play for eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. Final Genclik moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Pertevniyal and Mamak DSI. Gelisim lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Final Genclik will face higher ranked Samsun (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
