Total League top team - Amicale (5-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Residence (2-4) in Steinsel 79-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Residence. Amicale players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The former international power forward Billy McDaniel (199-84, college: Ark.-Monticello, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and American forward Shavon Coleman (196-92, college: LSU, agency: Court Side) supported him with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds by American guard Jesse Reed (196, college: American) did not help to save the game for Residence. American guard Everage Richardson (191-85, college: Co.Carolina) added 21 points and 4 assists. Five Amicale and four Residence players scored in double figures. Amicale have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 5-1 record, which they share with Contern. Residence at the other side dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. Amicale will play against league's second-placed Contern in Luxembourg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Residence will play at home against T71 (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
