Regular Season Round 8: Rybnik - AZS PCz 87-59

Very predictable result when fourth ranked Rybnik (5-2) rolled over at home 11th ranked AZS PCz (2-6) 87-59 on Saturday. Rybnik forced 19 AZS PCz turnovers and outrebounded them 41-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. Forward Adam Bialdyga (198-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Lukasz Ochodek (197-82) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Przemyslaw Laszewski (194-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Mateusz Gazarkiewicz (193-91) added 9 points and 6 assists in the effort for AZS PCz. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rybnik moved-up to third place in Group C. AZS PCz lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with six games lost. Rybnik will face Wisla Krakow (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
