The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked WKK Wroclaw's (4-4) road loss to fifth ranked Sudety (5-2) in Jelenia Gora 66-90 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 54-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Sudety dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to WKK Wroclaw's 28. Sudety forced 23 WKK Wroclaw turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by WKK Wroclaw's players. Swingman Aleksander Raczek (192-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Guard Lukasz Niesobski (185-85) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Four Sudety players scored in double figures. Patryk Wilk (195-97) replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Kamil Fiedukiewicz (188-98) added 15 points in the effort for WKK Wroclaw. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sudety have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position in Group D with 5-2 record. Loser WKK Wroclaw keeps the sixth place with four games lost. Sudety will face Kalisz (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. WKK Wroclaw will play against the league's second-placed Gornik (#2) and hope to win that game.
