The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Slavoj BK Litomerice as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group A. Slavoj BK Litomerice defeated 7th ranked BK Loko Plzen at home 64-54. They outrebounded BK Loko Plzen 48-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. Slavoj BK Litomerice looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Adam Zampach (198-90) scored 9 points and 18 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Martin Klimes (203-83, college: Vermont) chipped in 12 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Slavoj BK Litomerice's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Vaclav Honomichl (186-92) with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Jaroslav Lejsek (198-90) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Sokol H.K. BK Loko Plzen at the other side keeps the seventh place with four games lost. They share the position with GBA Sparta and Vysocina. BK Loko Plzen will play next round against strong USK Praha B trying to get back on the winning streak. Slavoj BK Litomerice will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Vysocina in Jihlava.
