Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Valdiceppo (1-4) was edged on the road by ninth ranked Senigallia (3-2) 72-71 on Sunday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a good game for guard Fabio Giampieri (190-93) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Nicola Bastone (195-92) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Federico Burini (190-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Umberto Meschini (190-94) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Valdiceppo. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Senigallia moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Valdiceppo keeps the fourteenth position with four games lost. Senigallia will face league's leader Bisceglie on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Valdiceppo will play against Porto S.Elpidio (#7) and hope to win that game.
