Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Olomouc SK (4-3) beat on the road 9th ranked Pardubice (1-6) 87-82 on Friday. Olomouc SK forced 22 Pardubice turnovers. Pardubice was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Pavel Novak (199-83) fired a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jan Zlamal (193-91) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Center Martin Roub (206-97) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and forward Josef Potocek (196-96) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Olomouc SK moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with Novy Jicin and Olomouc Bbal. Pardubice lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Olomouc SK will face Havirov (#8) at home in the next round. Pardubice will play against Ostrava and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
