Not a big story in a game in Arroyo Encomienda where 10th ranked La Fecha (2-4) was rolled over by second ranked Chantada (5-1) 73-54 on Saturday. The game without a history. Chantada led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding La Fecha to just 7 points in second quarter. Chantada dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to La Fecha's 20. They outrebounded La Fecha 49-28 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. La Fecha was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin center Filip Knezevic (205-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Jacobo De Benito (180-90) who added 16 points during the contest. Point guard Andres Fernandez (178-89) responded with 13 points and guard Millan Lopez (185-94) scored 13 points. La Fecha's coach let to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Chantada maintains second position in Group A-B with 5-1 record behind leader Leon, which they share with Estudiantes L. Loser La Fecha keeps the tenth place with four games lost.
