There was an upset when higher ranked Valls Nutrion (3-4) was rolled over on the road by eleventh ranked Igualada (2-5) 73-49 on Saturday. The game without a history. Igualada led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of center Eduard Tejero (195-92) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 8 rebounds and Adria Gual (185-93) who added 16 points during the contest. Equatorial Guinea forward Oscar Ngomo (197-90) responded with 15 points and power forward Josep Miguel (204) scored 7 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Igualada maintains eleventh position in Group C-B with 2-5 record. Newly promoted Valls Nutrion dropped to the eighth place with four games lost.
