Regular Season Round 11: Prostejov - CEZ Nymburk 69-109

Undefeated leader CEZ Nymburk delivered the eleventh consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Prostejov (6-5) 109-69. CEZ Nymburk dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Prostejov's 38. CEZ Nymburk forced 29 Prostejov turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. CEZ Nymburk players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Prostejov's players. It was a quality performance for international forward Martin Kriz (200-93) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Bryon Allen (193-92, college: George Mason) accounted for 15 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Four CEZ Nymburk players scored in double figures. Power forward Marek Soucek (213-90, college: Oklahoma St.) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Slovakian Roman Marko (194-86) added 10 points and 6 assists respectively for Prostejov in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CEZ Nymburk (11-0) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. Prostejov at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. CEZ Nymburk's next round opponent will be BK Lions Hradec (#8) in J.Hradec and are hoping to win another game. Prostejov will play on the road against BK Kolin (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
