Regular Season Round 6: Xinjiang FT - Jiangsu D. 115-106

Very expected game in Urumqi where 15th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (1-5) were defeated by top-ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (6-0) 115-106 on Sunday. Xinjiang Flying Tige made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American-Bulgaria point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Stealth Sport) scored 50 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Changdong Yu (206-91) chipped in 12 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Xinjiang Flying Tige players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) with 47 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and center Yuanyu Li (206-91) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Xinjiang Flying Tige have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Shanghai S. Loser Jiangsu Dragons dropped to the seventeenth place with five games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige will face Guangzhou (#19) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Jiangsu Dragons will play against Qingdao Eagles and hope to win that game.
