Date: November 16, 2016
Quite upsetting was German ratiopharm Ulm's 26-point home defeat in a game versus Spanish Valencia Basket who crushed hosts . It was a key game for the top position in Group D. The game was mostly controlled by Valencia Basket. ratiopharm Ulm managed to win second period 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Valencia Basket made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Valencia Basket outrebounded ratiopharm Ulm 43-24 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Central Africa swingman Romain Sato (195-81, college: Xavier) who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Ukrainian center Viacheslav Kravtsov (212-87, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds.
