Semi-Finals Game 1: Halcones - Caballos 66-86

Caballos had little trouble reaching LPB Final. They fired past Halcones in the semifinal clash. Caballos players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American guard CJ Rodriguez (188, college: S.Nazarene) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side and the former international swingman Anell Alexis (200-90, college: Marist, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 16 points and 7 assists. Four Caballos players scored in double figures. Forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-89) came up with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Puerto Rican guard Ricardo Melendez (179-83) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for Halcones in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
