Very expected game when 11th ranked UL Eagles (1-6) lost to fourth ranked UCC Demons (5-2) in Limerick 78-84 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when UCC Demons made 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for international guard Ciaran O'Sullivan (193-90) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 5 rebounds. The former international guard Adrian O'Sullivan (180-93) accounted for 26 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. French guard Jonathan Dogbo (193, college: Gannon) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds and Kristian Burchardt added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for UL Eagles in the defeat.
