Regular Season Round 7: Amyntas Dafnis - Arkadikos 58-61

Important game to mention about took place in Athens. Ninth ranked Arkadikos (3-4) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 12th ranked Amyntas Dafnis (2-5) 61-58 on Saturday evening. Arkadikos made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for point guard Ioannis Karamalegkos (191-94) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. Guard Giorgos Kopsaftis (192-83) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Christos Barbas (187-82) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds and guard Ioannis Angelopoulos (194-91) added 12 points and 6 assists in the effort for Amyntas Dafnis. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Arkadikos moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Amyntas Dafnis lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with five games lost. Arkadikos will face Holargos (#10) at home in the next round. Amyntas Dafnis will play against GS Larissas and hope to win that game.
