Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Zagreb: Cedevita (#3) and KK Zagreb (#5). Cedevita (6-1) crushed visiting KK Zagreb (4-2) by 22 points 95-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of KK Zagreb. The game was mostly controlled by Cedevita. KK Zagreb was better in second period 29-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-28 charity shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Cedevita forced 26 KK Zagreb turnovers. International point guard Luka Bozic (199-96, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 assists and the former international swingman Pavle Marcinkovic (199-89) added 21 points and 5 rebounds respectively for KK Zagreb in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Cedevita. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. KK Zagreb at the other side keeps the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with Cibona. Cedevita will play against league's second-placed Jolly in Sibenik in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KK Zagreb will play at home against Alkar Sinj and hopes to get back on the winning track.
