Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Santurtzi (4-3) outleveled at home bottom-ranked TAKE Tolosa (0-7) 67-37 on Saturday. The game without a history. Santurtzi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding TAKE Tolosa to just 4 points in first quarter. Santurtzi held TAKE Tolosa to an opponent 23.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded TAKE Tolosa 39-23 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. TAKE Tolosa was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Joseba Iglesias (200-83) who scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Mikel Sainz (195-95) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds.
