Regular Season Round 7: TLU/Kalev - Valga 76-88

Bottom-ranked TLU/Kalev (0-6) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to fourth ranked Valga (4-4) 88-76 on Saturday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Valga. TLU/Kalev managed to win fourth quarter 28-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Valga shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. The former international point guard Kristo Saage (186-85) fired 29 points for the winners. The former international center Rain Raadik (208-89) chipped in 7 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international point guard Reimo Tamm (188-84) produced 19 points and Martin Jurtom (200-94) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Four Valga and five TLU/Kalev players scored in double figures. TLU/Kalev's coach Kalle Klandorf tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Valga maintains fourth place with 4-4 record. TLU/Kalev lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Valga will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. TLU/Kalev's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena Noorteliiga.
