Regular Season Round 9: Nancy - Le Portel 74-80

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventeenth ranked Le Portel and 18th ranked Sluc Nancy had identical 2-6 record. But Sluc Nancy was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Le Portel 80-74. Sluc Nancy was ahead by 12 points after three quarters before a 31-13 charge of Le Portel, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 20 Sluc Nancy turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Le Portel (3-6) moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Sluc Nancy at the other side stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Le Portel's next round opponent will be league's leader Monaco at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sluc Nancy will play against Strasbourg IG (#9) and hope to win that game.
