Regular Season Round 12: NH Ostrava - BK Decin 70-59

Very important is a road loss of third ranked BK Decin (8-4) against eleventh ranked NH Ostrava (3-9) on Monday night. Visiting BK Decin was defeated by NH Ostrava in Ostrava 70-59. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BK Decin. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Deshawn Painter (205-90, college: ODU) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Jordan Riewer (188-91, college: MSU Moorhead) who added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Ondrej Siska (190-93) with 14 points and 4 assists and point guard Filip Kroutil (190-96) scored 11 points. Four BK Decin players scored in double figures. BK Decin's coach Pavel Budinsky rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. NH Ostrava moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Svitavy. BK Decin at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. NH Ostrava will play against higher ranked BK Opava (#5) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. BK Decin will play against MMCITE Brno and hopes to get back on the winning track.
