No shocking result in a game when first ranked Yosiquese (7-1) crushed bottom-ranked Real Betis SVL 2 (0-8) in Sevilla 104-61 on Saturday. The game without a history. Yosiquese led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Real Betis SVL 2's 40. Yosiquese forced 31 Real Betis SVL 2 turnovers. It was a very good performance for Portuguese forward Angel Vazquez (190-95) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Brazilian Rodrigo Goncalves (200-87) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Yosiquese players scored in double figures. Lithuanian forward Tomas Balciunas (201-0) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Francisco Marquez added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Real Betis SVL 2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Yosiquese have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Yosiquese maintains first position in Group D-B with 7-1 record, which they share with ULB OH!TELS. Loser Real Betis SVL 2 still closes the standings with eight games lost. Yosiquese will face Plasencia (#5) at home in the next round. Real Betis SVL 2 will play against San Juan in San Juan del Puerto and hopes to get finally their first victory.
