Regular Season Round 12: MKS DG 2 - MCKiS Jaworz. 65-83

Everything went according to plan in Dabrowa Gornicza where fourth ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (8-3) beat 11th ranked MKS DG 2 (3-8) 83-65 on Saturday. MCKiS Jaworz. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to MKS DG 2's 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by MKS DG 2's players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Tomasz Bryzek (195-86) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds and guard Dawid Weiss (188-88) who added 18 points and 7 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four MCKiS Jaworz. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Patryk Piszczatowski (190-98) with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Lukasz Lewinski (187-99) scored 14 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MCKiS Jaworz. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Polonia Bytom and Stal II Ostrow. MKS DG 2 lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. MCKiS Jaworz. will have a break next round. MKS DG 2 will play again on the road against MCKiS Jaworz. (#4) in Jaworzno and hope to win that game.
