Regular Season Round 12: Suchy Las - Pelplin 56-73

There was no surprise in Poznan where 13th ranked Suchy Las (1-10) were defeated by top-ranked Pelplin (10-0) 73-56 on Saturday. Pelplin forced 27 Suchy Las turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Wiktor Czyzewski (196-92) who added 7 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Jakub Simon (202-96) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Marcin Woroniecki (185-0) scored 11 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pelplin have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-0 record. Suchy Las lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the thirteenth place with ten games lost. Pelplin will face SMS PZKosz (#3) in Wladyslawowo in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Suchy Las will play on the road against Domino Inowr. (#5) in Inowroclaw and hope to win that game.
